The Mathematics department's vision is to inculcate pupils with an appreciation and love for the learning of Mathematics. In appreciating Math, we want our pupils to recognize the importance of Maths in their in their daily life and to see it beyond just the textbooks and classroom context. In loving Maths, we hope to spark the interest of our pupils in the subjects through a variety of programmes such as games, quizzes and puzzles to show the fun side of Maths.
Next, the mission of the department is to equip the pupils with Mathematical problem solving skills for life through quality teaching and enriching programmes. To achieve this, the department seeks to equip the teachers with skills and concepts to deliver quality teaching and to plan and execute enriching programmes designed to engage the pupils.
