In line with M.O.E’s outcomes of education, Edgefield also believes that the foundation of a person is his values. The true goal of education in Edgefield is intelligence plus character. Our school has a positive and pleasant environment that is conducive to the learning of moral values. In Edgefield, our environment helps pupils adopt desirable behaviour. We adopt a positive, preventive approach to discipline. We ensure that a pupil understands what wrong he has committed and its related moral values through counselling sessions. It is a whole school approach whereby meaningful learning takes place. Character Development Programmes are integrated into the school curriculum since Character determines men's destiny.
