The Physical Education Curriculum

In the PE curriculum, students go through the EDGE Learning process.

Experience

Students get to experience a range of movement skills and participate in a variety of physical activities.

Grow

Students will learn to demonstrate positive personal/social character traits such as fair play, teamwork and sportsmanship in a variety of physical activities and play safely with respect to self and others.

Empower

Students are given opportunities to apply, practice and demonstrate knowledge and skills based on the various learning modalities, style preferences and intelligences; empowering them to collaborate in varying group sizes and promote self-directed learning.
