Performing Arts (PA) Programme
Our Purpose
The Performing Arts Programme at EFPS is our Learn for Life Programme (LLP). It nurtures confident individuals and gracious collaborators through a progressive, experience-rich arts education journey from Primary 1 to Primary 6. As a key domain under the EDGE Curriculum, PA empowers students to express themselves, connect with others, and embrace the arts as a way to grow in resilience, empathy, and confidence.
Through music, dance, and performance, students develop 21st Century Competencies (21CC), values, and social-emotional skills that prepare them to thrive in an interconnected and dynamic world.

Our Learning Approach
The Performing Arts experience at EFPS is grounded in these principles:
Ipsative Growth: Students reflect on their own development over time — building confidence, resilience, and performance discipline.
Collaborative Learning: Each performance is a team effort where every student contributes and learns to support one another.
Family Engagement: Parents are invited to perform alongside their children in early years, deepening school-home partnerships.
Cultural Awareness: Students are exposed to diverse global and local art forms, broadening their perspectives and empathy.
Our Impact
Through PA, students:
Build confidence in presenting themselves
Learn to collaborate and communicate with empathy
Develop resilience through sustained rehearsal and refinement
Grow in cultural understanding and appreciation
Celebrate their own and others' achievements
From their first beat in P1 to their final waltz in P6, students in the PA Programme live out EFPS’s vision, “Lives Empowered, Lives Touched.”
