Student Development @ Edgefield Primary School

A Quality Edgefield Experience
At Edgefield, the Student Development Team provides a holistic learning
experience that nurtures every child. Like young seedlings, our students
grow into confident, curious learners through rich and meaningful experiences.
We help them build positive relationships, make meaningful contributions,
and embrace artful living. Students are encouraged to be active learners
with voice and choice in their journey. Through this, they develop a strong
sense of belonging that prepares them not just for school, but for life.

Our Edgefield Experiences
Our students enjoy a range of signature programmes and learning journeys
that are thoughtfully designed for each level. These experiences give them
meaningful exposure beyond the classroom, helping them explore new interests,
build confidence, and develop important life skills. Whether it's learning
outdoors, trying something new, or working with others, each activity shapes
their growth. These moments become lasting memories that nurture their
character and spark their love for learning.

Secret Garden
The Secret Garden is our exciting new student hub, a cosy and welcoming
space where children can unwind, recharge, and simply enjoy being kids.
Open during their recess breaks, it offers a chance to relax, play games,
and bond with friends in a calm and joyful setting. It’s a special place
that supports their well-being and reminds us that play is just as important
as learning. Through moments of laughter and connection, our students grow
happier, more balanced, and ready to thrive.

Theatre of Hope
The Theatre of Hope is a vibrant platform where our students get to shine,
share their talents, and express themselves with confidence. Whether it’s
performing, presenting, or leading, they are given the space to exercise
their choice and voice in meaningful ways. This initiative helps nurture
resilience and builds self-belief as they step out of their comfort zones.
It's more than just a stage as it’s where confidence grows and students
discover what they are truly capable of.
