EFPS places 21^st Century Competencies (21CC) at the heart of our Total Curriculum, in alignment with MOE’s national direction. This strategic focus ensures that every student develops the values, skills, and dispositions needed to thrive in a dynamic world.

21CC in the Total Curriculum ensures students are equipped to:

The E.D.G.E. Signature Programme: Translating Vision into Action
Through E.D.G.E. and the broader Total Curriculum, every Edgefielder will graduate as a confident, compassionate and capable individual who is ready to navigate life with purpose and contribute meaningfully to society.

To ensure every student experiences 21CC meaningfully, EFPS has designed the E.D.G.E. Signature Programme, a structured co-curricular experience that complements academic learning while directly nurturing 21CC development.

1.    Key Features of E.D.G.E.

• 6 Domains: Live Life, Love Life (LILO), Digital and Visual Literacy (DV), Language Arts (LA), STEM, Performing Arts (PA) and Sports (SPT)

• 22 Experiential Modules across P1–P6; Compulsory participation by all students

• Tiered Progression: From exploration to mastery; Designed to support all levels of learners

• Ipsative Assessment: Students set goals, reflect on growth and take charge of their learning journey

• Recognition and Certification: Students build portfolios that capture their personal development and contribution

• E.D.G.E. Showcase: Culminating experiences that give students a platform to celebrate their learning, share their projects and demonstrate growth to peers, teachers and parents
