Infocomm Club
About Infocomm Club |
Infocomm CCA is designed for students who have no prior experience in programming. The program incorporates games, microprocessors, programmable robots, and artifact creation to simulate real-world IT development in a hackathon-style format using provided resources. Students will also engage in project work, encouraging them to think creatively, collaborate effectively, and take initiative. |
Experiences |
We include a wide array of IT equipment for our CCA like Ozobot, Mbot,
Microbit, LEDs, copper tape circuits plus other tools and materials like
Blockie, Strawbee, LEGO and cardboard.
|
Developing our students |
Personal growth areas e.g. confidence, teamwork and resilience through
the coding projects.
|
Growing hearts and minds |
Students are developed holistically in this CCA learning through service for each other. In VIA, we cleaned and arranged book for our school library. In coding lesson, students help each other in the areas that they are strong in. |
Empowering leaders and talents
|
Students build their confidence in their leadership role in competitions as well as their communication skill through the numerous project presentation in different stage of their design projects. |
